Ladysmith.

 

So fortunate to have found this amazing Vancouver Island community, and to have my son, Logan, help me move from Edmonton to here this week.

 

Logan driving through Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Wildlife count included 3 coyotes, 2 swans, 35 white-tailed deer, several mountain goats and elk, and 1 white rabbit.

My new back yard contains a waterfall, hiking trails, a stream. I can see the mountains from my bedroom window, and be on the beach in a few minutes.

 April has seen sweeping changes. I began the month in Meadow Lake, SK, where I celebrated my birthday with my sisters and parents.
